Clear Anodized aluminum Door Skins etc.
I recently was reminded that I needed to add a little material to the blog. Sorrry folks I think I have just been lazy. We have a ton of stuff coming up and I promise I’ll put it up ASAP.
Front Door.
In the mean time here is a door I put together for a big clear anodized aluminum project I did here in town. This door is 7′H by 6′ W. Its hinged on a third and weighs in at about 600 lbs.
I simply love this door. I used 78- 4′x10′ sheets of aluminum on all of the Soffit and Facia and ceilings as well as most of the exterior walls in this house.

This really was a giant pain in the butt, which took a full year. However it was a great opprotunity. Not very many people are brave enough to clad their house in metal. Word of warning, the neighbors wanted to kill me, though I think they have settled down now.

What a house ! This is the part where I should say something in french that generally refers to food while making a slightly femmy gesture with my hands………but I dont know french. Instead please enjoy the view of the back of my head.
